Help 83-year-old Ali Dede and cat
Fundraiser to help Ali dede (grandfather) with funding and supplies after his house along with all of his possessions sadly burned down in Turkey in a story that has moved the world. 
The Turkish government will help him with a new house, which is amazing news so the least we can do is help him with funds for food and supplies, both for himself and his beloved cat, as well as help with medical and vet bills. 
Ali dede's story touched me as it did the world and as people have seen me successfully fundraise for people in other countries before (via my active Instagram presence), they asked me to help. I waited 24 hours before setting up this page as I really hoped one of his family members or a local from Bolu Province would have done it but as nobody did I stepped up.
I got in touch via a very close friend who speaks English, lives in Bolu Province and did some work on Ali dede's house last year (the house that sadly burned down) who has given me Ali’s bank details, which I have run through significant verification checks. This means that the funds donated to this campaign will go directly into Ali dede's bank account, for him to withdraw and use as and when he wishes, which is amazing news,

Old man in tears hugs beloved cat he saved from fire as his house burns down . The residents of Ordular village in western Turkey were saddened yesterday after witnessing the tragedy of an old man and his beloved cat, who helplessly watched their home burn down.
83-year-old Ali Meşe accidentally started the fire himself, while trying to light his heating stove with gasoline. His efforts sadly went wrong and led to an explosion after which his single-storey wooden house burned to the ground.
The shocked owner of the house was seen hugging his frightened cat, mourning over the loss of his hens. “13 of my 14 hens died during the fire," Meşe said while sobbing.
