Software for Online Farmers Market

The Arkansas Local Food Network serves our community by connecting Arkansas to resilient farms and businesses to grow our local economy. A large part of accomplishing that mission is through our online farmers market, which connects our customers to growers and vendors from all over the state.


Our organization is now ten years old and so is our website. ALFN is fundraising for a new software platform to support our online market that will greatly improve our customer experience and day-to-day operations. Our goal is to raise $5,000 over the next three months, to cover the cost of implementation. Here are a few ways our new site will make it easier to shop with us:

-Mobile friendly ordering so you can order from your phone or iPad
-Sort products by attributes like chemical-free, organic, or naturally grown so you can be confident in the products you purchase
-Easier and more flexible membership options whether you order every week or once a month
-Secure online browsing and checkout
-Ability to manage your account information easily

We appreciate your support of local food systems, and as a thank you for donating we have several gifts for you! When you donate at least $75, $125, or $150, you will receive the following gifts:

$75 - Set of three vegetable and fruit storage bags
$125 - Set of three veggies and fruit keepers and an ALFN T-shirt

$150 + - Set of three veggie and fruit keepers, an ALFN T-shirt, and a $25 giftcard to our online market
