Alex Yohalems leukemia fund 2.0
$13,040 of $15,000 goal
We are here at kaiser again for another 3 to 5 day cycle of chemo. We also have another spinal tap in the morning.
As many of you know we have been at this since January. Alex has acute lymphoblastic luekemia. The prognosis is good, and he is in remission. This does not change the next three years of treatment though. He will not be considered a survivor untill he is cancer free for 2 years after treatment.
While things are looking up medically, the treatments and special childcare eat up the whole families resources. Financial, emotional, physical, and time.
We appreciate the help and support everyone has given and continues to provide. I still need the help, love, and support and so does Alex. Please at least repost this
Thank you again in advance
Tonight Alex took his last dose of chemo, and while it takes a lot longer for the official "cancer free" declaration, all indications are the treatment was a success.
I want to extend our thanks to all of you, those who contributed, and those that have just followed along. I have no idea how I could have survived the last 3 years without you.
Today was Alex's last infusion clinic!!!
On the 11th he will stop all chemo!!!
He was such a champ today, and through this whole process. He is looking forward to not having anymore chemo. We thank you all for the support you have given us through all of this.
Alex was a trooper as always. He's so strong. We are very excited it's almost done. Saturday we got to go to an event at our cousins in the east bay. The boys had a blast playing with all the kids.
Thank you all for the continued support. It's been a long road, but we're almost done.
Yesterday was the last spinal injection!!! Only 66 more days of chemo!!!
Alex was a trooper as always. He's doing well and the procedure went as well as possible.
He was telling me on the way to clinic that it makes him angry and he wants to point the middle finger at them because they take his blood. He says he loves his blood and wants to keep it inside of him forever.
We are very excited to be nearing the end of this. Thank you all for your support over the last 3 years.
OMG!! Woody! What a sweet face. Have a fantastic time at Disneyland.
I sent a donation previously and just got the update, I would like to share some options if you open to complementary alternative medicines and treatments. My friend was cured of his cancer 20 years ago with alternative treatments, just google Billy Best and read up on him.
