As a parent, we don't plan on the loss of our child(ren). As a niece, and a cousin, we don't think what happens in the outside world will invade our bubble, or have an affect on our family.
We are often wrong.
My cousin, Alex Wlodkowski, age 16, died 10/21/16. He was young, funny, smart, and sweet. His is loved by many. And his sudden death is tearing our hearts out, as many who have lost loved ones can understand.
He was being raised by a single mother, with very little, and his funeral expenses are more than what our family can afford. We are asking for a little help, not for a huge funeral with a parade, but for the basics. We don't have a lot of time to raise the funds, but any help will be appreciated, as it will go directly towards his cremation.
We thank you in advance for your help, as my family tries to come to grips with the loss of Alex.
