We are friends of Alexis Arias, a Coachella Valley teacher and community member injured during the mass shooting in Las Vegas.
Alexis received a gunshot wound. While surgery probably won't be necessary at this time, she is recovering from the wound itself and a fractured pelvis.
These funds will be used for covering any costs (medical, physical therapy, childcare, transportation, and time off work) that arise during her recovery.
Alexis is an amazing woman who has impacted all of our lives so much. Anything you can give that will aid her and her family as they begin recovery from this terrible incident would be appreciated.
