I'm an Australian-based researcher and blogger at AlexBurns.net and on Twitter . I've previously edited and written for Disinformation, 21C, REVelation, and other magazines / websites. I've authored and coauthored original research in academic journals. I'm a part-time PhD candidate in political science at Australia's Monash University.
Why should I donate to this cause?
I need your help to meet personal costs in blog publishing for Quarter 1, 2017 whilst I look for new, full-time work. I publish original research on topics that include coverage of United States politics and monitoring the terrorist group Islamic State.
