Alexandra's journey to winning this fight!
It was very hard to take in what a very good friend of mine was telling me, her daughter had cancer. Brenda (Sanchez) Lindebak is an amazing Mom to her kids Aaron, Anissa and Alex and to think of what they are going through is just heartfelt. Brenda and her family are asking for prayers, love and support.
Please consider supporting Alex with her fight.
Alex works two jobs and lives with her Aunt Andrea and Sister Anissa in Albuquerque and Brenda lives in Washington and will be flying quite frequently to support Alex through her cancer treatments. To help cover costs we are humbly asking family and friends for support to make it a little easier on Alexandra on those days the chemo treatments are too much and has to miss work. I know this would mean the world to Alex and her family.
on January 16th Alexandra was scheduled for surgery to take out a lymph node for testing, no one would think this would be the beginning to Alexandra's journey to winning this fight.
On January 17th this beautiful and smart young lady turned 21 and celebrated with a surprise visit from her Mom Brenda along with other special family never letting her surgery get in her way.
On January 18th Alexandra received a phone call from her Doctor confirming she has Hodgkins Lymphoma and would have to start chemo treatments. Alexandra called her Mom to give her the news always keeping her strong will and faith near. Alex will not let cancer define her and cancer may have started this fight, but she will finish it!
