We're raising funds in the memory of our dear friend Alexander Bender Buchanan, who passed away in Montréal, Québec, on Thursday, March 1, 2018 at the age of 37. 

All of your donations have been delivered directly to Bender's mother, Dorene Inglis. The money will to go toward funeral costs, travel, and other expenses incurred during this very difficult time.

The money raised beyond these expenses will be going toward a trust, to honour Bender's memory while helping young artists.

Bender's art has touched countless people all over the world. He was a brilliant poet, musician, visual artist, writer, and a dear friend to so many people. He had a brilliant mind, his heart was huge and his capacity to love was a truly rare thing. 

While he is gone far too soon, he will live on forever through his art, and through your stories and memories.

Bender was a beautiful, humble, selfless, hilarious, brilliant man. He will be greatly missed. There will never be another.
