Alaor, 30, recently was diagnosed  (on 5/14/16) with Optic Neuritis which caused him to lose 90% of  his vision. 

After he received his diagnosis, Alaor had an MRI which revealed lesions on his brain which the neuro opthamologist says points to a 72% chance of Alaor developing Multiple Sclerosis.

Alaor was referred to Bascom Palmer, the #1 eye institute in America which specializes in his condition. However, Bascom is located in Miami/Dade County and the county that he lives in (Broward County, Florida) will not  cover healthcare outside of their county. Therefore he and his wife must relocate  by June 14th to Miami/Dade county in order to receive full coverage.

Before receiving treatment, Alaor's vision was 20/2800 (he was blind in one eye), but thankfully the treatment has brought him to 20/40 vision. Of course, more tests will be necessary and Alaor will have to continue his treatment in hopes of returning to full vision.

Due to lack of health care,  Alaor and his wife have already amassed a bill of $10,000 and it will continue to grow.

We're not asking for anyone to pay the total amount, we just ask for whatever help you can offer in hopes of maybe evening out the costs. Alaor and his wife are a young couple who have just started building a life together. This was an unexpected event and we hope to prevent them from falling into a life of medical debt.
