Alan Heikkila was diagnosed with stage 4 pancreatic cancer in early October 2018 and it is at that point that his short, but arduous cancer journey began. He elected to undergo chemo treatments and was hospitalized twice in December during his brave fight.  His spirit  wanted to fight, but his body did not and he lost his battle on December 24, 2018.  Though his fight was cut short, the high costs of his cancer treatment have left his wife Reg Heikkila with unexpected medical and funeral expenses.   His family is looking to help pay down his medical debt and to pay for unexpected living expenses related to his sudden illness and subsequent passing.
