Help me get this dog out of Thailand
EDIT: so I got a quote from the vet for how much everything will cost and unfortunately I underestimated the costs by about 1000 dollars so I raised the funding amount to compensate for the added expenses.
Thank you thank you thank you thank you

I hope he is doing ok. What a great thing you did for him.
My friend's dachsund lost control of his bladder and legs due to an accident He is now almost fully recovered thanks to chiropractor treatments. Perhaps look into that :) Just an idea!
Well done Megan, what a kind heart you have, beat wishes from the UK.x
Absolutely amazing act. Good luck to Leo and thank you for doing this for him
I had a paralysed dog for 14 years--she had a happy and healthy life (went through 3 different wheelchairs over 14 years) I would be happy to adopt him -I am in California
Ellen Darlene, you 'r right. There already a fund for this dog. And he have already his prothesis. I think both organizations cheat.
Great job Meagan ! Sometimes you see thing like this and you feel bad because you don't know what to do but you, you did something wonderful
Hello Meagan, My husband Martin and I we live in Thailand, Chiangrai. How amazing it is to hear and see your story. One year ago my husband saw in my village a dog stumbling on two legs with after the same story as your dog! And as wheelchair-tennisteacher I had a good idea. So I make a wheelchair from PVC-pipe. Now he can run very fast.Only the different is that the total cost of this wheelchair was 27 USD! But now maybe it is possible you spend from your fund just a nice wheelchair as your dog. We sent later some fotos. Greating Martin and Annette, chiangrai Thailand
This is absolutely wonderful, beyond amazing. How did you deal with laws-- both countries let dogs cross borders with no problem? I travel a lot and see so many poor animals and have always wondered how to do something if one truly needed out.
You are an incredible and kind, generous person. I wish there were more people in this world that cared so much about animals. As you clearly do. Thank you for giving this poor dog another chance!
I have a dog named POoh,I rescued from the streets in Yangling China while teaching and living in China for two years.I managed to get a transport company to hold him for me when I had to return home to America. However the fees are more than I could save. Its almost been two years since I left him in care with this transport company. I feel aweful I didn't know how to setup a fund raiser site on my own sooner. My transport company contact in Beijing has given up on me and told me today that if they don't see any money soon my rescued dog POoh will be put down-killed. I thank God I found your fundraising site and I pray it can help me raise the transport fees for POoh before they kill him.
You're remarkable. MI wish there were more people like you. Lucky Leo to have met you!
Thank you for saving this sweet pup and lifting his spirit..need more people like you in this world..
Actually, Ellen Darlene has a point. No need to get nasty. It does seem Meagan is the individual who rescued Leo from Thailand, and Jamie is his foster in Canada, but since plenty of people nowadays unfortunately lie and create sham fundraisers, Ellen Darlene isn't in the wrong for asking questions.
Ellen Darlene: please go away. People like you make me fucking sick to my stomach.
Thank you for your compassion and help for little Leo, I wish you all the best in the future!
Meagan, you have such a wonderful soul. I am also a huge animal lover and it's so nice to see people who are the same. Good on you, you helped change this dogs like immensely. Cheers!
Thank you very must.
I'm so proud of you ...Meagan, you have a loving heart and determination to make one of our "voiceless" have a better life.
