Help Akirah's Open In South Loop

Imagine walking into a store in Chicago's South Loop area and hearing New Orleans style jazz music playing, smelling wonderful aromas and seeing friendly faces eager to serve you delicious treats and freshly roasted coffee.

With your help, that's just what you'll get this summer. Coming soon is an amazing new start up business launched by an entrepreneurial family that has a track record in the food, health and fitness industries.

Here is our goal...

Akirah's (named after the owners' daughter) will be a New Orleans, French Quarter style coffe shop in Chicago that will serve beignets , coffee and a variety of praline  candy flavors. 

What we have accomplished...
We have invested about $55,000 on the build out and equipment. The work is almost finished. Watch the video to see some of the work being done. 

Here is our mission...

We desire to serve people the same New Orleans inspired homemade treats that we enjoyed growing up and currently enjoy preparing and eating at home and serving to our friends and family. Additionally, we seek to create jobs and help strengthen our local economy.

Here's why we need your help...

We need an additional roughly $20,000 to purchase some necesary equipment and finish the build out to and other neccesary employee and product purchases to make this project a reality this summer.
