24th Nevada County Food and Toy Run

We distribute food and toys to over 350 families and 1,500 children at Christmas.  Each family receives a turkey or a five pound canned ham, a 10 pound bag of potatoes and a grocery bag of food.  Each child receives 3 toys.  We serve the low income families of Nevada County, CA, as well as Head Start and Big Brothers Big Sisters.  Besides food, we have permits, right-of-way fees, porta-potties, rentals etc.  A major rain/snow storm would leave us with major bills to pay.  We would appreciate your help.  For each $50.00 donation, we will send you one of our long-sleeved Toy Run shirts.  For $250.00 we will make you a sponsor.   Thank you for considering us!  Check us out at: www.facebook.com/NevadaCountyFoodAndToyRun  or: www.toyrun.org
