Airline tickets for Kate Brooks

I am Kate and my family moved to Kenya 13 years ago. We took in orphan girls and raise them up for the last 11 years in our home alongside our own children. While raising these girls who had traumatic pasts, we decided it would not be possible to travel back to the United States without causing them great concern and fear. We feel as if we sacrificed our own family to be family for them. Now that most of them are grown, and we are starting an equine assisted therapy program for disabled children, we feel it is time for us, well three of us, to make a visit to see our family, friends, and donors. We are a donation based project. Thank you for helping!
The funds from the campaign are sent directly to our USA account which is managed by our friend Bob (Robert) Humphrey. He has been a partner of A Future and a Hope for over twelve years. He does all banking for us on the USA side from checking the mail and depositing donations to sending them to Kenya. He's a volunteer and does not take any cut.
We reached our first target goal, and we purchased round trip tickets for $5000 from Nairobi Kenya to London to Texas and back! Thank you!
Once in Texas, we need to travel across the country far and wide... I feel it is important that we visit the people we have grown to know and love through the last eleven years via internet (since, I haven't left Kenya)... people who have supported us, but we have never met!
We need help getting from Texas to California, Connecticut, New York, Pennsylvania, Arkansas, and back to Texas!
For our domestic flights, we need $3,000 above the $5000 that gets us to the USA. All funds in this campaign are being spent on tickets for three to travel from Kenya to London to Texas to California to Connecticut to Pennsylvania to Arkansas then Texas to England to Kenya. This fundraiser only includes airfares. We will stay in homes and hitch rides from nearby town to town.
