AHS Rocket Team Going to Nationals

Hello! We are the Amory High School Rocket Team and we are hoping to raise enough money for travel costs to attend the 2016 Team America Rocketry Challenge National Championship. We have to have at least $5,000 for plane tickets and other travel accomodations, for all 12 members of our team and chaperones. It is urgent that we raise this money soon, so that we can ensure that our spot in the top 100 is not given away. We have to raise the total $25,000 by May 10th.
Since October, we have been hard at work combining resources, experimenting in the field, and analyzing data to meet the rigorous parameters of a perfectly scored flight. We have put in a tremendous amount of work towards these rockets. From early in the morning to late at night, we did whatever it took to pass TARC's most competitive season since 2003. The announcement was made April 8 that we had qualified for Nationals. Not only are we the top team from Mississippi, but we are also
the only team to qualify from Mississippi.
This is important to us because we know that the tremendous time and effort we devoted can match that of the many successful Amory teams before us, one of which placed 10th in the nation. Also we want to represent our state of Mississippi and the opportunity to win and represent our nation at Internationals. Funding us would not only allow us to achieve our dreams of representing our state but also it would be an investment in our futures. Going to Nationals would be impossible without generous support from people like you! Thank you very much for contributing to our substantial endeavors.
Any donation you make will not go unrecognized. If you donate $25-$99, we will place your name on a banner that will be carried to the White House and any other places we travel during the trip. If you give $100-$249, we will place your name on the banner and our team t-shirt that we wear while participating in our final flight. If you give $250-$499, your name and logo will be placed in color on both our banner and t-shirt. If you give $500-$1000 or more, the name and logo will be placed not only our banner and t-shirt but also our final flyoff rocket. If you would not like to be listed on anything, please let us know by emailing us. Although larger donations recieve more recognition, any donation you give will be greatly appreciated.
