My name is Amani Rene Pacifique and I am the founder of One Help One Direction Ihumure, a charity organization which have a vision to create a peaceful world free of children in distress.
I am currently working with kids and it came when I finished my high school in 2012, I was looking a job to do in my life as my career and I have tried many works but in my heart there was something pushing me to spend times with children, on the first time I had no idea what I can do with children but day after day with my passion, I have seen that I can fight for child’s right as one thing to make peace long lasting. In 2016 our organization has started a weekly program title “Smile Sunday” to help and care for kids on street situations, where we bring children in or out street with an objectives to know how they live and to develop them into responsibilities citizens. Now we have 25 children we care for and there is two categories of them, those who has already exit the street situations and there are also those who still struggling on the streets.
The Idea for making “Agasaro 4 Love ”campaign, It was came after realized the challenges we face in our daily life trying to bring change into their lives and the time we spend together in our program where we share stories , laughter and amity in both our souls and physical touch altogether but they are still need more for building their better future lives and the only thing to reach the goal is to bring people together and everyone can give his/her contribution that can make a difference in children’s dreams.
We need to raise 10.000US dollar which will be used to support kids to get a shelter,school fees & materials, food and clothes and it will also be used to train the parents of kids in patisserie and to make soaps for building a small trade which will help our organization to sustain itself. We can’t do this initiative without your generosity!
