
AGA PDT Fundraiser for St. Mary's Home

St. Mary’s Home in Norfolk is a special place full of love and laughter, where children and young adults from all across Virginia live, play, go to school and receive complex, professional, around-the-clock care in a nurturing, comfortable environment to help them achieve their fullest potential.
Staff provides medical, therapeutic, educational and recreational services for 88 children ages newborn to 21 years. With the opening of The Albero House in 2013, St. Mary’s Home also cares for 12 adults older than age 21.
Your support during the AGA Commonwealth of Virginia Professional Development Training event will enable St. Mary’s Home for Disabled Children to fulfill their mission to provide quality, personalized care for children and adults with complex medical and behavioral needs so they can achieve their fullest potential.

Donations will count as entries for each donor during our AGA chapter's door prize drawings taking place at the end of our 2021 Commonwealth of VA PDT, with a total of 16 door prizes!
A donor's name will be drawn throughout the PDT for each of the prizes for everyone that participated in the GoFundMe fundraiser. Donations count for entries as following:
· $1 = 1 Entry
· $5 = 7 Entries
· $10 = 15 Entries
All drawing winners will be contacted by an AGA representative, and door prizes will be mailed or emailed directly to the winners. Please don't forget to include your name and email address with your donation if you would like to be entered in the drawing for a door prize!
More information about St. Mary's Home for Disabled Children (St. Mary's Home): To provide quality, specialized care within a home-like environment for children and adults with severe disabilities, so each person can achieve his or her fullest potential. Over 300 employees provide 24/7 clinical care, education, and other services to the residents of St. Mary’s Home which range in age from newborn to 21 years old. Services offered include facility-run occupational, physical, speech and recreational therapies, regular exams by specialists from Children’s Hospital of the King’s Daughters and EVMS, Infant and Toddler Program with infant massage, and summer camps, year-round activities and community outings.
