PILOT EPISODE
"This show is not an African show, it's a show by Africans to the World." - Udochi Okeke, Creator of "Marked"
Marked is a science fiction show based in an African dystopian future. There are a group of people in the show who wear a mark on their heads. They are called the "Osus". They are outcasts of society. In the pilot episode (seen above) we show the main character of the show, Marcus, as he enters into the reality of a life where he is "marked" by society.
The following documentary shows some behind the scenes about the peole involved in the making of the show.
We are raising money for the production of the first season of the cartoon. The money will be used for animation costs in a professional animation studio, voice actors (in English and Igbo), post production and marketing.
The first season will be 12 episodes, each 10 minutes long or less. For a total of a maximum 120 minutes. Some of the cheaper studios may charge somewhere around $2500/minute.
