The African Film Festival
The African Film Festival (TAFF) is a non-profit organization dedicated to African motion pictures to serve as a platform for educative references to African Culture. Due to financial constraints, many African filmmakers are not able to premiere their films in cities other than where they reside. Given this fact, TAFF affords hundreds of African Filmmakers the opportunity a platform to compete in the global market yearly.
Our vision is to increase the availability of African films in non-African communities, universities, colleges, and public libraries as reference materials in the study of African culture, history, people, and issues. While promoting and encouraging the effort to tell African stories, we are also educating and empowering undeserved aspiring filmmakers through free film workshops.
It's only thanks to the support and generosity of people like you that we can achieve so much. These are some of the ways your support could help our work.
$10- $50 will help us fund some of our ongoing film workshops in various countries .
$50- $100 will help us buy film equipment for hands-on training of undeserved aspiring filmmakers.
$100- $1,000 will help us acquire better screening equipment and contribute to filmmakers’ recognition and prizes.
If you haven't donated already, please consider us today. Every dollar counts!
