African Drum-Shop Fire Relief Fund

Dear Local Community,
Master Drummer Kwasi and his wife Lisa have lost their drum shop and home and all their belongings to a house fire last night. Let's support them here to re-build their lives. Every little bit can help!
Addendum: I have been asked by the GoFundMe folk to verify my identiy. Lisa Walker and I became friends when I moved to Vancouver in 2002 to beging my graduate work in Biology at UBC. Kwasi was our first drumming teacher since about 2006. Lisa and Kwasi married in a ceremony at Lisa's burnaby-lake little cottage in 2014. I have spent many beautiful Saturday evenings drumming with Kwasi, Lisa and all the wonderful regulars at the shop. The community will really miss this gathering place!
