Help us build a Dream Court in partnership with the Nancy Lieberman Charities and local Police Departments!
A Dream Court is a gift to the community in which they serve. Approximately 36,000 kids participate on each Dream Court per year, giving them a healthy playing environment, while they are competing, learning teamwork, responsibility, accountability and more of life’s essential skills.
Kids in Dream Court Programs are:
· Attending classes
· Less likely to get involved in gang activities
· Developing better relationships and trust with local police
· Experiencing increased health and wellness
As citizens of our communities, it’s incumbent upon us to help guide, support & offer opportunities to individuals and organizations. Partner with the Basketball Hall of Famer Nancy Lieberman and her Nancy Lieberman Charities, and together we will be able to create change for positive impact.
Nancy has utilized her influence and platform as a former Olympic silver medalist, player, and championship coach to help give underserved children a chance in life through opportunity.
From her days growing up in New York City – Nancy knew she was different – she has always defied the odds in life and her career – a 2-time Olympian, Hall of Famer, WNBA GM/Coach and players gave her a chance to change her life.
She’s unafraid to break barriers, in 2015, she was only the 2nd woman hired as an asst coach in the NBA with Sacramento Kings, Head Coach in the NBA G-League with the Texas Legends, Dallas Mavericks affiliate. She is now the 1st woman Head Coach with the Big3 League. Her team, Power, recently won the 2018 Big3 Championship, and Nancy was named Big3 Coach of the Year. No woman has ever won the Championship and named Coach of the Year in men's professional sports.
