AEMBOT is traveling to Worlds in Houston, TX!
Liberty High School's robotics team is doing great this year, but it needs your help!
During its last two robotics competitions, Liberty's robotics team, better known as AEMBOT, has been doing extraordinarily well. With their robot that flips on it's back and champions at defensive strategy, they've won one competition and gotten to the finals elimination bracket in another. They've also earned an award for the creativity of their robot, and the second most prestigious award in the competition: the Engineering Inspiration Award.
AEMBOT is currently ranked the #1 team in Oregon, the #2 team in the Pacific Northwest (151 teams), and the #6 team in the WORLD (1875 teams)! They are guaranteed to go to the Houston World Championships! Travelling to Houston, however, is incredibly expensive; paying for competition entry, lodging, flights, food, and all the other necessities in order to ensure a safe and terrific travel experience requires a lot of money.
Since AEMBOT is a free-to-enter and student-led team, they need help fundraising more money to pay for the trip. If you would like to help them go to Houston, please donate to the team. Bit by bit we can get to Texas!
All donations will be used to support student flights, room, and food costs during the 5 day stay in Houston, TX.
