His family has informed me that they need help with his cremation and memorial services, along with any other expenses that insurance won't be covering. It's been a long journey for everyone involved. I'd like to personally thank everyone for their support, and future support, Davids Father has expressed immense Gratitude for all of the thoughts, prayers and donations to help his son.

This man will never be the same. Either of the young men burned. Never! Obviously you don't know anything about burned victims. And both men are in critical and this one burned over half of his body. And as I read and watched a news footage regarding this; They did not 'agree' to fight at gas station. One car had ran out of gas, hence why they went to gas station. No one deserves to be set a blaze, regardless if they agreed to fight at a gas station. I dont even know these young men, but to say, 'lesson learned' Lauren O Sullivan, with an exclamation mark as if you are saying it with enthusiasm. Wow. To start off with a 'get well soon' then end it with 'lesson learned' is pretty foul. To be honest you could have just as well reframed from commenting. This guy's family and loved ones are on here reading comments; I'm sure. The lesson learned from this incident is simply reiterating and reminding us just how sick people are in the world we live in. Hopefully I just taught you, a lesson in reality checking Lauren... But I'm sure you didnt LEARN anything. Ignorance is bliss! Prayers for the victims and to their families. No one deserves this. Ever... Regardless... Period! https://youtu.be/sW4EVVAActA

My prayers are with him and his family. I was at church this morning when we were informed of this unfortunate happening of David. Our Pastor-Middle River Baptist-has said he is a devoted member of the community and some of our members were aw struck to find out about him. Our prayers are with him and his family. Thank God they have the evil person in custody.

I'm sorry to say this story is being miss-reported to claim this was "black on white" violence. After googling around, I found this page, and it looks to me that David Campbell is a black fellow. Very sad that he was burned, and I'm quite upset that his story is being exploited to incite hatred towards black people. https://www.facebook.com/events/842788625779591/permalink/1016828245042294/?ref=1&action_history=null

Update on (David, David)! As of 2:30 pm his younger sister told me she was on her way to visit him, and here is the quote on his condition "He's preparing for the surgery that he will be undergoing tomorrow. He'll be going through many surgeries for the next 3 months. He still can't talk but he listens" if anyone wants more details I will be tagging his sister in the comments section.

I heard about this on bodybuilding.com's forum and Jesus Christ what a horrendous crime has been committed against this young man. My prayers and those of my family are with you David. May the perpetrators of this evil act be brought to justice and may your pain be swept away by God's healing hands and love.

Not that it matters what color skin they have, as this is very tragic what happened, but get the facts correct. When you describe a story, why do people name colors? And if you choose to, get the colors right on who did what.

As a burn survivor myself I cannot understand how some one could purposefully cause so much pain and agony to another person. It's going to be hard and it's going to be long but be strong and know that it gets better. Your story has touched my heart so deeply I wish I had a million dollars I could just give you instead I can only send you prayers and love. Please stay stong!

We need to progress as humans and learn to abandon competition, put aside our differences, take a breathe and think for a second about the wonders of life. Conflict includes too many risk, we need to learn to lose. While the rich get richer, the poor continue to prey on one another. This was a workplace incident that could've been avoided. We need more solidarity; stay cognizant and conscious of how the world works around you, it can save you your life.
