Adore Adrian (Hodgkin's Lymphoma)

In 2012, at the age of 26, Adrian found herself in the doctor’s office receiving the terrible news that she had been diagnosed with Hodgkin’s Lymphoma.  Over the course of the next months, her 3 children, husband, and family gave her the strength to start combating the cancer with a bone marrow biopsy and 11 chemo treatments.  She celebrated the last chemo treatment on 5/9/2013, just to find a few months later in July that the cancer had returned.  She endured stronger inpatient chemo in Indianapolis that were 4-5 day stays, and started the stem cell replacement therapy.  February 2, 2014, Adrian and her family received the wonderful news that the PET scan results were showing that the cancer was inactive.

“Unwanted Guest...

Like an unwanted house guest, at 29 years old and as a devoted mother of 3 and wife, Adrian's cancer is back.
She was admitted to a clinical study at IU Health in Indianapolis. She will receive an infusion every 21 days. She will be able to stay in the study as long as her cancer does not progress. If her cancer does progress the next step would be another round of donor stem cell replacement.
