HELP Adam with healing & recovery!

Hello and THANK YOU for considering a generous donation to help Adam Heal & Recover from a horrific car accident!
On 12/03/18, Adam was driving home from his morning job and was in a very serious car accident. He was in the middle of the intersection, waiting his turn to turn left, when a car ran a red light and t-boned him on the driver side at 50+ mph. The driver was uninsured, on drugs (Meth) and tried to flee the scene. Adam did not see it coming nor does he remember the impact or anything after until he woke up in the hospital 4-5 days later. Paramedics took 20 minutes to cut him out of his car. He is VERY LUCKY to be alive!!! His injuries consisted of:
- Left femur was broken in 2 places
- Multiple fractures of his pelvis, pubis, sacrum & L02-L05 vertebrae
- Fractured sternum
- Broken ribs
- Punctured lung
- Bowel rupture
- Whiplash
- Left foot injuries
- Left arm injuries
The trauma surgeon did emergency bowel resection surgery to stop the internal bleeding, removed about 6 inches of his small intestine and the orthopedic surgeon placed a titanium rod into his femur to pin the breaks. Adam was on life support for about 4 days and spent 6 weeks in the hospital being treated for all of his injuries.
Now, he has been discharged from the hospital and is home recovering and healing slowly, going to physical therapy a couple times a week, chiropractic therapy and psychological therapy. This is going to be a LONG ROAD to recovery for him and is an extremely challenging experience for him and his family.
Adam is a husband, father of 2 and a 20 year veteran public school teacher with the Los Angeles Unified School District (LAUSD) and is required to miss 8 months of work due to the accident and will probably need about a year or so to recover enough to function at his normal abilities. The money raised with help him with losses to personal property (i.e. Car, etc...), missed work days and other incidentals that will not be covered.
Your generosity, kindness and support is ENORMOUSLY APPRECIATED!!! This was a tragic accident that was caused by someone whom should not have been behind the wheel of a vehicle, being a drug addict, uninsured motorist and with a long history of criminal activity and incarcerations.
