VICTIM OF HIT AND RUN DRIVER NEEDS OUR HELP!

This is Mitchell Hoover and his wife Kristi. Many of you may have heard that Mitch was recently hit by an unknown driver while cycling on Sproul Mountain Road near Claysburg PA on Tuesday, April 5, around 3:30 PM. He was found along the side of the road while he lay unconscious. He suffered two pelvic fractures, his pelvis was separated from his tailbone, multiple contusions and abrasions, and lacerations to his face that required stitches. He received surgery on the morning of Thursday, April 7 to pin both hip sockets and pelvis back to his tailbone.

He is determined to beat this but he needs our help. Mitch would undoubtedly object to us creating this account, we have done so anyway to raise money to help with his bills. He is a very proud person and may even get mad at us for a while.

He will undergo a lengthy rehabilitation process of up to 6 months and will not be able to return to work until fully recovered. He will be wheelchair bound for at least 6 weeks but possibly up to 12 weeks to allow his hip sockets to heal. His home will have to be altered during this time so he will incur additional expenses.

His friends ask you to spare a donation on he and his wife's behalf. We are doing this as we all know he would do it for us.
