Help Abigail Baldwin fight Human Trafficking in Australia and Beyond.
I'm currently raising money to participate in a Discipleship Training School with YWAM (Youth With a Mission). Specifically, I’ve felt lead to do the Priceless DTS in Perth, Australia. The Priceless DTS focuses on fighting human trafficking, slavery, prostitution and other areas of injustice. These issues are very much on my heart.
The DTS itself is six months long, three months of lectures and three months of outreach. I’ll be participating in lectures that will teach me how to minister to those enslaved. Then, for three months my classmates and I will travel to locations that are hotspots for human trafficking, focusing on five main areas: Prevention, Advocacy/Awareness, Networking, Research/Investigation, and direct care. We’ll be reaching out to street kids, law enforcement, victims of prostitution, and many others, in Australia and beyond.
The school starts July 5th, so I have a substantial amount of money to raise in a short time. Getting to Australia alone will cost me about $2,500. The lecture portion of the school costs $3,580, in addition to a few living expenses. After those three months, I will need a similar amount for the outreach portion.
I am fully trusting God for these funds. It is all in His hands. If you feel lead in any way to help support me, every dollar counts. If you can’t contribute financially, I’d still deeply appreciate your prayers. These next months are going to be challenging and push me emotionally, physically, and spiritually.
