Aaron Lemmon from Marysville Wa. Stabbing victim

Donation protected
On January 25th, 2019 My 31 year old son Aaron Lemmon, was stabbed twice with a sword by the mother of his 2 children.

Aaron had just gotten home from work watched some TV with his son, and tucked his son into bed for the night. At this time his infant daughter and the mother of his children were already in bed asleep. Around 11:30 pm before Aaron headed for bed, he wanted a glass of milk as he reached for the glass in an upper cabinet, the women stabbed him under his left arm with a sword Aaron didn't even hear her coming nor did he immediately realize he was stabbed. He then grabbed his left side and saw the blood as he watched her run back to their bedroom. Aaron followed behind her and pleaded with her to please call 911. Aaron eventually fell over in their bedroom and at that time she stabbed him again.  Aaron went unconscious and lost tremendous amounts of blood. 911 did not receive a call from her until 2:09 am.

Per Aaron’s surgeon one stab wound went 8 inches deep into his side, slicing through his left lung, and was millimeters from his heart. The second stab wound also tore up his left lung. During surgery it was decided to remove Aaron’s entire lower left lung and part of his upper left lung. His body also required 7 liters of donors’ blood.  The hospital kept him heavily sedated for 2 days in the intensive care unit.  Physical and mental therapy will be needed after his release from the hospital.

Along with my son fighting for his life, he now has to fight for his children. Aaron will need a family lawyer to help him get custody of his children. Aaron’s children are currently in foster care through the state of Washington.

Aaron continued to stay with this woman because he was desperate to keep his family together and he lacks a support system in Washington. The court system continued to give the children to her, and he kept going back to her in order to keep the children safe.  There are numerous texts from the woman telling my son what she planned to do to and what she wished would happen to the children. There were days Aaron had to leave work early before she woke up to tend to the children. There were numerous times he would come home to find filled diapers hungry children and a mother only looking after her own selfish needs. The mother was admitted into a drug rehab clinic a few months ago.  My son took the children there every day to be with their mother knowing the children were safe and being monitored by the staff. When she was released from the clinic the staff followed up by stopping at my son’s house daily, checking on the mother, and looking after the children to make sure they were safe. The visits from the clinic eventually stopped and my son was back to using his own resources again.

My son's immediate family all live out of state. I live in Illinois, his sister lives in Montana, and his father lives in Colorado. The police couldn't find any of our phone numbers in his phone. We assumed she had erased them.  If it hadn't been for family friends I am not sure when we would of found out what had happened.

All funds will be used to help pay for my son’s current and future medical expenses sustained from his injuries, therapy once he is released from the hospital. Travel expenses to and from appointments. Industrial cleaning of his due to the blood he lost, and attorney fees as he needs to get his children back. He has and will continue to miss work since 01/25/2019 while recovering. His work is not guaranteeing him that his job is secure, nor has he been working for his job long enough to apply for family medical leave. I need help getting my son away from this vicious cycle.  Any donation whether big or small would be greatly appreciated.

I appreciate and thank you in advance for any help you are able to provide him.
