Aahar India Burns (Jan 5—Yellow Springs, OH)

$2,535 of $21,000 goal

Raised by 47 people in 5 months
We are sad to report that this past Saturday, January 5th, Ahar India's food trailer here in Yellow Springs burned down. But we are happy to report that the man behind delicious Indian cuisine was physically unharmed from the ordeal.

Having met with Akhilesh Monday morning, he would love to continue his artful India food service here in Yellow Springs.

A compounding problem is that Akhilesh shared unfortunate timing of a cost cutting measure this past August when he canceled the portion of the business insurance that would have help him to rebuild.

He only retained the business liability insurance, not property coverage.

Hi guys Aahar India is getting lot of phone calls from our lovely customers every day trying to know how soon we will start serving Indian food. Some customers not knowing about the fire damage on January 5 were calling to place the food orders. This all show how much our customers and well wishers love Indian food and Aahar India food.
I am giving the updates that our new facility is under construction and on progress. We had initially put a target figure $21000 . We have received $8225 from our insurance and we received so far $2300 from our well wishers on Go fund me platform. We are also putting some of our personal funds in order to achieve the goal. We are hoping to open by mid March. We are still looking some more funds to come in. So share it with your friends and family and bring some more donations.
Thank you
