Af-Ams in Anthro Mentoring Program

Donation protected
Although retired, Dr.  Tony Whitehead (Professor Emeritus, Anthropology, University of Maryland) is still involved in a number of projects, including this new one, which he has titled African Americans in Anthropology Mentoring Program (AAAMP). The AAAMP was initiated to support mentees who Dr. Whitehead decides to provide “experiential learning” opportunities by working with him on one or more of the projects in which he is working at any one point in time.

This mentoring initiative is an invitation to others, particularly young writers, to join Dr. Whitehead in either co-authoring his work, or as motivation in producing their own materials on related topics. Your donation will provide funds to support the program’s ambitions.

The Cultural Ecology of Health and Change  (CEHC) is Dr. Whitehead’s personal website. His various projects are organized under the umbrella title, CEHC Writing Collective (CWC). The primary goal of the CWC is to motivate Whitehead to complete his own writings for dissemination while utilizing a collaborative mentoring component.
