Help Me Raise Money To Visit My Sick Mom

Originally, I had created this page to raise money for supplies for an Art Showcase I am doing in October, BUT, while I still want and need to raise money for that, it is more important to me to go visit my Mom in North Carolina as soon as possible. A few weeks ago, she began to cough up blood and after some X-Rays, CT Scans, and other tests, Doctors found a mass on her lung. At this time they are still uncertain of what it is for sure. They put her on antibiotics for 4 weeks because they thought it might be just a bad infection, however, the antiobiotics don't seem to be helping too much. She is still coughing, and she is not coughing anything up which is not necessarily a good thing. Her paperwork says that there is a good possibility that the mass on her lung could be cancer, but she will not know for sure what it is until she goes back on July 16th.

I have not seen my Mom in over 2 years, and she needs me now more than ever. I am in desperate need of help and I am asking for any donation that you can make toward a plane ticket for me to go visit her as soon as possible. If I raise more money than a plane ticket will cost then anything left over will be used for my original fundraiser for supplies for my Art Showcase (original post is shown below), but at this point I am raising money for a plane ticket FIRST.

I have been personally invited by the Event Director of RAW: Natural Born Artists to be a Featured Artist in their Art Showcase at Ace Of Spades in Sacramento, CA! Originally, I was to be featured in the August 14th showcase, however, due to some personal, unforseen matters, I have decided to skip the August Showcase and instad be featured in the October 9th Showcase.

I have already begun making pieces for the show, however, I am going to need to make at least a few hundred pieces to display and have stocked to replace pieces that are sold. Since I will need to make so many pieces, I will need A LOT more supplies to create them (beads, chains, jewelry findings, etc.). In addition, I will also need to have business cards made, a sign/banner made, packaging materials, things to display my pieces, and more.

I am hoping to raise money for these things and appreciate any and all help I can get whether it's $1, $10, or more. If you are not able to make a donation financially, simply sharing this page with your friends and family to help me get the word out would be very much appreciated.
