Protecting our Communities from The oldest nuclear weapons waste that has created a legacy of heartache and devastated generation after generation of families with no end in sight.  It's time to close this chapter and end the continuous suffering of our Community due to this man-made radioactive waste. We are collecting donations for independant soil sample testing.

****UPDATE*****

We started a Go Fund Me in the hopes of raising money for independent soil sampling...we no longer feel we have to prove the science....we have moved into a more Critical Situation with St. Louis preparing for the potential of a Nuclear Weapons Waste Plume that could cover the entire St. Louis region.

We have been told we will learn what our zone’s will be so we will know if we are in an evacuation zone or a Shelter in Place zone and how to shelter in place and what tools/supplies are needed, depending on the severity of the situation.

There are many families that will not be able to afford an "emergency kit" duct tape and plastic for their windows....we will now need to focus on getting the necessary supplies especially for the minority and lower income families’ through our area.

To learn more, please visit our Face book page: West Lake Landfill and our website justmomsstl.org [aka stlradwastelegacy.com]

Thank You.

As you know, Just Moms STL has been fighting hard over the last few years to secure a safe and permanent solution to the ongoing hazards at the Bridgeton/West Lake Landfill. This includes education, outreach, and action towards a voluntary buyout of residents living closest to the landfill and excavation of the Manhattan Project radioactive waste.

In order to sustain momentum towards achieving our community's goals, we need help covering our everyday operating expenses, such as travel, materials, and educational outreach.

Together We Can Make A Difference:
Just Moms STL has made many strides and accomplishments towards a safe and permanent solution at the Bridgeton/West Lake Landfill because of supporters like you. We are extremely grateful to have your support, encouragement, and involvement.

Please consider donating to Just Moms STL to keep our efforts going.

We are SO excited about Lois Gibbs coming to St Louis to speak specifically about West Lake Landfill and offer her expertise from her experience with the toxic disaster suffered by those of Love Canal back in the 1970's. This workshop will be in place of our August CommUnity meeting. I am including a link to all the details, as well as the RSVP form. There is limited seating and you must RSVP. This is a FREE event and will be very educational for our CommUnity. Lunch will be provided and you will need to choose from the options on the RSVP. You will also receive a confirmation call.
Lets unite together and learn what we can, when we can, to do everything we need to do to protect and save our CommUnity from any potential harm to our families, our property and our future! Please plan on attending, and share this with others....Thanks

Perhaps some of the proceeds from this cause should go to the kids that depend on their summer job at BMAC to support their college expenses. Hours have been reduced due to the using of a ballpark for the sole purpose of scare tactics!

You are amazing women! I love you for your strength and courage. The losses you have endured are inhumane. I am unemployed or I would give more. Would love to help connect you connect with more people!

My husband and I just saw by chance Atomic Homefront on YouTube. Brave brave Moms. If you ever need to stay in New York City on your journey for justice and truth, you are welcome here though modest our home is.
