Help Make My Laptop Portable Again!

Hi!! My name is Kelsey (also known as Rian or Keikii on the internet). My dream is to work with Disney or Dreamworks as a Character Designer or Marketing Advertisor person.
I'm currently attending the School of Advertising Art in Kettering, OH where I am being trained to be a Hybrid Designer. This means that when I graduate, I'll have high skill sets in Graphic Design, Marketing, Illustration, Videography / Video Motion, Photography, and Communications.
At my school, we were given (paid for with our tuition) Macbooks, as it's what professional designers use as well as what we use for our projects in our classes.
After a small leave from the school for a semester, I'll be attending there again in January 2016! However, my cat decided he'd jump on my laptop while I was cooking and it slid off the counter and totally busted the monitor. It's completely unusable portably, but can still be used if hooked up to an external monitor. (Like this TV that I'm using to make this page).
Obviously, it'd be pretty impracticle and frankly painful (& bulky) to have to carry an extra monitor around with me when I go to school or have any graphic design jobs to do.
I took my laptop to the Apple Store to see about getting it fixed and it turned out that my insurence ran out and now to get it portable & working again, I need just about $800. So, that's what this page is for. I'd ideally need to get it all fixed by January 4th.
In exchange for your kindness & help, I'd like to give back by giving art commissions or (local-- in Dayton, OH) photoshoots to anyone who donates over $20. If you donate over $20, take a screen cap and email me at [email redacted] to talk about what kind of art/photoshoot to get done for you! :)
