A New Heart for Matthew

Nine-year-old Matthew was born with a congenital heart condition, requiring multiple surgeries since his birth. His condition has worsened, and he is now on a transplant list for a new heart and lungs at the Children's Hospital and Medical Center in Omaha, NE.

Due to his condition, his cardiologist has recommended that he move closer to Omaha in preparation for his transplant. The lower elevation there will make it easier for him to breathe. Matthew is currently under the guardianship of his grandmother, who is very limited income . All collected funds will go towards relocation expenses and medical costs.

This photo was taken of Matthew at his baptism in October. He is an active 9 year old boy who yearns to do activities and sports. Thank you for your prayers and donations to help him get a new heart and a new set of lungs!
