A Seed for Reblooming: Help Nina, Ukrainian farmer

Donation protected
Nina Radchenko is among the sustainable farmers severely affected by the war in Ukraine, having her house, garden centre and greenhouse destroyed by the military shelling. Nina and her husband, Ihor, were forced to leave behind their daily life and move from the Donetsk region to a safer place in the Western Ukrainian town of Rivne.

For Nina, gardening isn´t only work. It´s her life’s work. She is passionate about flowers, vegetables and landscape design. The war not only destroyed her life´s work but also shuttered her dream of turning her garden centre into an international model, like in Germany or the Netherlands.

"You build, you work, and you want to have someone to pass on to. And those who start a business must be ready for difficulties and not give up. The main thing is to remember that you want it and feel optimistic. It happens that people try, fail and immediately give up. But if you work, luck will find you", says Nina.

The aim is to raise 19,629 euros (214.000 SEK) to help Nina construct a new, heated greenhouse and renew the sustainable production of flowers and vegetables.

This sum would enable Nina to organise an all-year-round vegetable production with a wide range of high-quality and ecological products.

Your donation would not only allow Nina to rebuild her greenhouse and start a new life but would also give support to a sector seriously compromised by the war. Agriculture, sustainable products, and food security bring value and stability to the Ukrainian people and their country. Now more than ever, your help is vital to support Nina and Ukraine!

HOW CAN YOU HELP?

Add your seed for the reblooming! Each donation counts, even a tiny amount.

Installation, commissioning works and structure of the watering and lighting system will be carried out at Nina's own expense. Read more about the business plan.

Thank you in advance if you decide to add your seed and donate to help Nina!
