A life taken to soon
On Monday, September 18, 2017 Akaaylee Burton was taken from this world too soon by an intoxicated driver. Her sister Alyssa Burton, who is three months pregnant, spent two days at OHSU who sustained injuries to her spine that will heal with time. Thankfully her baby has been given a clean bill of health. Alyssa's boyfriend and father of the baby, Richard, has suffered severe injuries that will cause him to be unable to not only be unable to walk for some time but unable to work for several months, if not longer. Finally; Shari Grier, the grandmother to Alyssa and Akaalee, is currently in the ICU at Emmanuel with traumatic injuries.
This family has been hit hard in a way I didn't think would ever happen. These individuals all live together under one roof and not no one will be able to have an income coming in for an extended time.
We are currently asking for help with the costs associated with the funeral of Akaalee Burton and the medical bills of Shari, Alyssa and Richard. Anything is appreciated and will all funds will go to this family.
