A Helping Hand for Brent Scudder and Planet Funk

Unfortunately, this past Sunday night, Brent Scudder's car was broken into while he was at a local bar, and all of the equipment he uses to run the Planet Funk podcast was stolen, along with his laptop which contained an invaluable collection of music.
Brent is obviously a great guy, and it hurts to see it happen to someone so generous and kind.
The Planet Funk podcast has been, and continues to be an outlet for Michigan's rich electronic music culture, and to see it vanish along with the stolen equipment would be a tragedy. It has been a staple at Urban Bean Co. where it has been hosted every Wednesday for years, and at Foran's prior to that. It is a welcoming foot in the door for Detroit's up-and-coming DJs and electronic musicians, as well as an honored tradition for veteran musicians from home and abroad.
Among the stolen items was a laptop, multi-channel mix board, several microphones, cables, video cameras, sound card, headphones, and carrying cases for most of it.
I am asking for donations on Brent's behalf because he is probably too humble to ask himself. If you cannot give money, we would also welcome equipment similar to what was stolen. All proceeds (minus processing fees) will go to Michael Brent Scudder. Even if we do not hit our goal, every bit will go a long way in helping to bring Planet Funk back and restore Brent's and our faith in our community. So let's see what we can make happen!
