IT'S A LONELY WALK

Did you know that approximately 41,000 women in the U.S. alone will die from breast cancer this year? Being surrounded by family and friends helps, but it’s still a lonely walk. There are many support groups and organizations to assist breast cancer survivors and that is good. However, there is not much help available for the metastatic/stage 4 breast cancer patient. It’s about time that we change that and start to recognize and support these women also. Many of these women feel like they have been forgotten. Their day to day life is filled with worries and sadness…and often fear dominates their thoughts. They have been robbed of their potential future and most have very little to look forward to. Though we know that we cannot change their circumstances, we can show them love and kindness. With your help we can give them something to be excited about and look forward to. A paradise retreat has been created exclusively for breast cancer patients that is designed to uplift, inspire, and treat each guest like a queen. From a ride to the beach in a princess carriage to being catered to by handsome cabana men at the pool, they will be treated like royalty. But due to skyrocketing medical costs and expensive co-pays most cannot afford this once-in-a lifetime opportunity. We have a list of stage 4 breast cancer patients that are anxiously waiting to hear that they will get to go. Please help us to give these women hope, inspire them to keep going, and show them that they have not been forgotten. We have promised them that there are loving and compassionate people who truly care, and will show it by helping in this effort. Please, don’t let them down.
