Your Mission: Help Zion get her groove back

In recent weeks, life has dealt our beloved Zion a pretty crappy hand, and now more than ever she needs the support of her friends and family.

Those in her closest circles are familiar with recent events which have caused Zion to endure significant emotional and financial strain. In light these personal adversities, Zion will be moving suddenly and swiftly back home to Spokane, WA, after just a couple years of enjoying beautiful Eagle, CO.

Why she needs your money:

When one door closes on life, another surely opens - as will be the case for Zion. By donating a few bucks to her New Start Fund, you can help her get a fresh start in her new, independent life.  Your gift will go toward covering the cost of moving, and also to pay back the student loan debt she owes to the University of Washington.

Zion will be leaving her job and moving home without a concrete employment plan, nor a degree with which to get hired in a field worthy of her talent and experience.
Zion's student loan debt is relatively small, only just over $1,000, but this debt prevents her from retrieving her college transcripts so that she may go back to school.

Other than family, education is the most important thing to our Zion, and she has been a passionate advocate for all of her friends in college. Though hitting the books is a long-range goal, the 10-year window for using her current college credits is closing fast. The sooner her debt is paid, the sooner she can be prepared to get back to college and get the degree she deserves so much.

"Let me know if there's anything I can do..."

We have all said this to a friend or family member in need when we cannot really do much to help. What you can do right now is donate a couple of bucks to Zion, because her intrepid heart is on a mission all on its own, and sympathy won't put gas in a moving truck.

 Deadline: May 1st, 2016

Zion's original move-out date at her old apartment is May 1st, but the landlord has authorized her to take additional time, if absolutely necessary. Our goal is to get her packed up and prepared to move on that day, just to rip the band-aid off.  Send her home with more than just well-wishes; send her home with the peace of mind that comes with being able to afford to start fresh in her new life.
