There are pivotal moments in our lives that shape who we become... In our childhood, these moments directly affect how we respond to fear, to love, to anger, to joy...
One major moment can change EVERYTHING.
Melissa is someone who has already overcome so many obstacles and harrowing events from her past. As a child, she began to gain weight to protect herself from sexual predators. What began as a simple coping mechanism, developed into an intricate web of fears and walls designed to keep her safe. But as she got older, she discovered these walls were not keeping her safe from her fears... they were keeping her from fully living her life!
She is now embarking on a mission to experience life completely eradicated from fear. Our intention is to capture this journey and to create a feature-length documentary of Melissa's life over the next year as she faces many different kinds of fears including everything from losing weight, to dating, to white water rafting!
Melissa is well on her journey as she has already lost over 60 pounds and intends to loss another 100 pounds over the next year!
We have an experienced production company including a world-class director, cinematographer and we are ready to start filming as soon as the funds are raised. Please consider investing into this film and becoming a part of a unique story.
