I've always loved to write and now I want your help to make it my career. This money is focused on improving my writing education. I'm applying looking into university summer courses and also applying to writers retreats around Canada. My goal by March 2020 is to be paying my bills from just writing.
I've always been scared to have my own blog so I promised myself I wouldn't even try to take this path unless I published 5 blogs on a real site. In 6 weeks I've written those blogs , joined a free writers mastery group, and had the blogs reviewed by the writers there. The feedback from them was amazing, in fact after my first article someone random told me about the writers' group. After the 3rd article, a publication on the website picked up my article to share under their name. I'm now going to start a twitter account and start reaching out to more publications all while refining my process for writing quality articles faster.
My dream is to write books, share research, and promote education. I've been an aggressive reader ever since I was a kid and last year read 43 books. I've written just as much filling up hundreders of digital notebooks and dozens of real ones (I carry a notebook with me where ever I go). I've put in the hours, I've just never had the courage to take the step forward to get the proper training. That's what the gofund me is for.
To help me contribute to society in the way I've always loved too. Oh, and if I become a famous author I'll pay back double any donation over 100$. If you accept that deal you also have to accept the hug I'll be giving you too.
