Reynaldo's Winter Internship

I'm a junior studying International Economics, Spanish and Latino Studies at the University of Notre Dame. I'm searching for a winter internship (December-February) in the management consulting or finance industries to acquire professional experience and also to lessen the burden of a variety of expenses that are deteriorating my ability to pay for my tuition.
Some examples of said expenses are: travel to/from Mexico (where my family lives) during time off from school, travel to/from Chile (where I will be studying abroad March-July of 2017) and administrative fees related to said program.
My ability to pay for college will also suffer in the event that I do accomplish my goal of interning this winter. Given the unorthodox time of year in which I'd like to intern, I have not been able to find any firms willing offer me a paid internship within my areas of interest. This means that including the cost of transportation to the location of my hypothetical internship and the cost of living (rent, utilities, food, toiletries, daily commute) I would effectively be paying out of pocket for the opportunity of interning rather than being paid for the work I'd do. Internship experience is also a must-have for full-time employment post-graduation!
The main obstacle between me and graduation in 2018 is the cost of tuition, so my primary goal is to make a dent in the 3 pending tuition payments that I will have to make between now and then. Ideally, I would fund those "dents" through the product of my own labor by taking on internships, but in this case that is likely not going to be possible. Therefore, my secondary goal is to offset the costs of a potential internship and then to earn at least some compensation for my time as an intern.
I'm a first-generation college student and independently paying my way, so my future will be immensely affected by my ability to pay the rest of my outstanding tuition. I would be forever indebted to any contributors and every little bit helps. Thank you in advance!
