We've Moved!

In an effort to consolidate donations to our new facility project, we've moved our donation form. We sincerely thank all those who've donated over $4,000 through GoFundMe and we've raised an additional $39,000 through other channels, but we still have $27,000 more to go before we can complete Phase 1 of construction!

Wildwoods is a 501(c)3 nonprofit wildlife rehabilitation organization located in Duluth, Minnesota. We assist orphaned and injured animals from northeastern Minnesota while providing information and support to members of the community on responsibly living with wildlife.

Wildwoods has quickly outgrown our original facility. We’ve purchased property at 4009 Arrowhead Road in Duluth, MN but we need your help to build the new facility! In 2015 we admitted 1,100 animals (doubled from just two years ago). In order to meet demand and provide excellent, prompt and humane care for the thousands of animals we expect to receive, we need to build a new facility from the ground up.

The expansion will be rolled out in four phases to be completed by end of year 2017. We need your help now to raise the funds we need for Phase 1.

Phase 1 (June 2016): $70,000

- Parking Lot Prep (grading, leveling, etc.)
- Septic System Updates
- Drainage Updating and Installation of Soil Erosion Measures
- Construct 3⁄4 of Animal Building 1
- Feeding table, chairs and cabinet in each room
- Office Renovation and Outdoor Wildwoods Sign
