Dear Friends and Donors,

My name is Angie Cushwa and I am the Founder of 4 Hope, born from my 20 year marriage in an unknown form of domestic violence called Gaslighting abuse. "4 Hope- Out Of Domestic Violence" is a collection of short stories from women who have left non-physical violence. The forms of non-physical domestic violence are not commonly known, and more often that not discredited. Please know-

Domestic Violence is more than just physical abuse. Other forms of Domestic Violence include verbal, emotional, psychological, sexual, economic, technology, stalking, and gaslighting.

All forms of domestic violence, physical or non-physical, hold the same universal truths. The abuser's objective is to exert power and wage control to dominate the victim. He just uses different weapons (abuses) to subordinate and to hurt his victim. Though the other forms of abuse do not leave physical marks and signs of the abuse on the victim's body, they are all as equally severe as physical abuse. 

In "4 Hope- Out Of Domestic Violence" women who have triumphed over non-physical domestic violence pioneer paths, and walk as guides, for our fellow sisters still bound in DV. We pave our journey in, and out of DV. How we finally did it, that one word packed of life. Leave. My personal story "Goodbye Trouble" will be featured.
