My name is Desiree and I am a newly single mom of 4 children. Two boys ages 14 & 9 and two girls ages 10 & 6. I have been married and a stay at home mom for the last 13 years. I am ashamed to say that my husband relapsed this April and left my kids and I in such a hole that I must begin to swallow my pride and ask for help from everyone. My husband whom Ive recently separated from is in a program now which I'm thankful for. He can begin his sobriety and possibly be a better father and the provider he once was for our family. But with that being said, my bills have piled up and my income has decreased since he's not working at this time.
Dont anyone get me wrong, if you know me you know how difficult it is for me to share what I'm going through and to ask for help during this time of struggle. I am a strong woman. I know I can do what I have to for my children if I could just get a hand up. I began working 6 days a week at the end of July when he wasn't helping provide for our children any longer. I will say that I am underpaid and just can't catch up on my own. That's why I've come to you for help. I've heard it takes a village to raise a family. No amount is too small to help my children and I.
I am in need of money to pay my past due rent, it still isnt paid for the month of September and is due again by the October 1st. My rent is $950 a month before late fees.
As you know the utility bills must be paid or they will get shut off. I was just recently able to get my gas turned back on. All other utilities are two months past due. I would be more than happy to provide anyone with my account numbers for the utilities if that works better for you.
My car payment is 3 months past due and My registration expired on our vehicle in July. In order to get registration I have to have the catalytic converters replaced in order to pass smog. I need money to pay for the repair before my car gets impounded and I can't make it to and from work or get my kids to and from school in our car. Again, if you'd rather I give you account info. just let me know.
My children are in need of warm clothes, jackets, and shoes. If you would like their size let me know. Anything helps, children grow like weeds!
