Help rebuild The Shop ! Fire sucks.
In February 2015 the home workshop ("The Shop") of artist and skilled woodworker Michael Wales was destroyed by a devastating fire, the cause was not determined. That night more than a building was lost, a lifetime of tools, supplies and plans were destroyed. The insurance policy The Shop was covered under was painfully inadequate. Michael Wales, a
man connected to nature, needs to rebuild, and needs your help to keep designing, crafting and contributing his unique style to the art of woodworking. Supporting this campaign will help a productive, generous man rebuild his life which has been centered around a craft he's studied for over 40 years. He's been able to add countless high quality pieces to New York State and beyond, if you've lived, worked or visited the Southern Tier, chances are you've experienced his craftsmanship firsthand. All proceeds will go directly to the rebuild. Please Share this campaign with your friends and family, it would be so appreciated! Any amount you give will help, no matter the size. If you're in a position to lend a hand to a hardworking man recovering from a huge catastrophe, please take a moment to!

A huge thanks to all the help, love and support Michael's had in rebuilding so far. If you could take a moment to share this campaign again it would be hugely appreciated, as you can see he still has a long way to go but it's coming together with your help.
The ashes and debris are gone and the foundation is up! Please take a moment to share if you haven't yet- your help is so greatly appreciated!
Wow! Less than a week and we're almost halfway to the original goal. Please share this campaign with your friends, neighbors, strangers, everyone! Michael has been touched by the generosity of both friends and strangers. Please share and let's hit the goal and start the rebuild!
A big thanks to everyone who has contributed so far! Please share this fund raising effort through social media, email and by word of mouth to your friends. The debris from the fire is still where The Shop once stood but with your help the rebuilding and recovery will happen!
