Help for Mrs Schiff

As many West Jefferson friends know, Carol Schiff has dealt with a lot. Not only did she lose Jon and Dave a few years ago, she more recently has had her own medical issues. Add to this, Don Schiff passed away shortly before christmas three months ago.
Carol has had a very difficult time dealing with things. Her home is no longer safe and while her landlord was patient, recent events have required that he intervene. The house must be made safe again. Her landlord and his employees are working to preserve the memories of found photographs, keepsakes and pictures etc. Caregivers are determining how they will help carol if she is to return home.
Either way, her current home needs repairs for the damage sustained and she needs new furniture.
This need is truly desperate.
While she is currently staying elsewhere, her landlord is removing unsafe items, deep cleaning and there is an urgent need for funds or in-kind donations to repair and replace:
Carpet, Paint, Furniture (specifically mattresses (possibly another for the second bedroom if a friend or caregiver spends the night), recliner and possibly other living room seating for visitors.
We would like to help her so that she knows the community loves and and remembers all the years she and Don gave to the West Jefferson community.
