Wight Brainy Bunch Abseil
Donation protected
Who - A group of completely bonkers people including me
What - Abseiling 560feet down the Spinnaker Tower
When - Sunday May 27th 2018
Where - Portsmouth
Why - Because we love supporting the Wight Brainy Bunch brain tumour charity.
If you can, please sponsor me so I can help to raise money for this amazing charity.
The Wight Brainy Bunch was set up by Mark Grimes & his wife Kathryn, from the Isle of Wight, following Marks diagnosis of a brain tumour in February 2015.
Did you know more children and adults under 40 die of a brain tumour than from any other form of cancer including breast cancer, cervical cancer and prostate cancer, yet....brain tumours receive just 1-2% of the national spend on cancer research.
By sponsoring me you will be helping The Wight Brainy Bunch’s chosen charities, The Fire Fighters Charity, The Brain Tumour Charity and the Wessex Neurological Centre for Research into brain tumours.
I didn’t know Mark & Kathryn back then, but I’m thankful to know them now and they are the most inspirational couple I know.
Please visit their website for more info and to see how they are helping others with this debilitating disease. www.thewightbrainybunch.org.uk
Lastly, the Spinnaker Tower looks quite small from the Isle of Wight, however, when you’re stood next to it, it looks huge so this will certainly be a challenge! If you can help then please give all you can and let’s make it count.
Thank you
