Mi nombre es Andrés Modesto, y estaré obsequiándote mi libro con un pedacito de Venezuela por cada donativo realizado sin importar el monto.
Esta campaña nace de la necesidad de un pueblo golpeado y abandonado que no tiene donde pedir socorro, por lo tanto, es nuestro deber como venezolanos, aportar un granito de arena a esos otros tantos venezolanos inocentes que no han corrido con la suerte que nosotros tenemos y a veces no agradecemos, de tener un techo y tres comidas diarias. Yo personalmente, así como muchos #VenezolanosConCorazón, nos hemos impuesto como misión solidaria, el salir a la calle cada día e intentar brindarles un día más, a los cientos de ancianos y niños inocentes e indefensos que circulan por las calles de nuestra tierra amada y desamparada.
Desafortunadamente somos personas humildes, y lo que aportamos, no es suficiente, pero sé que podremos seguir con esta misión, con la ayuda de todos ustedes, y cada día ir creciendo y llenando nuestra Venezuela de estomaguitos llenos y sonrisas de esperanza.
El dinero recaudado será destinado en partes a la fundación www.instagram.com/SopaPatiMCY (@SopaPatiMCY) quienes se ven mayormente afectados por la falta de recursos y merecen que velemos por ellos tanto como podamos. Y por otra parte para seguir con el trabajo que venimos realizando en el libro que recibirán, en el cual se relata el apoyo a los cientos de niños y ancianos en situación de calle proporcionándoles insumos básicos y unas cuantas sonrisas. He aprendido que se puede determinar el corazón de una persona por lo que hace por aquellos que no pueden hacer nada por él.
Por cada donativo de 10€ estaremos financiando la alimentación completa diaria de aproximadamente a 10 niños o 7 ancianos. Recuerda que, aunque a veces sentimos que lo que hacemos es sólo una gota en el océano, el océano sería menos sin esa gota.
En los últimos 3 años he estado escribiendo desde la frustración e impotencia. El pueblo ha estado en las calles protestando en contra de la pobreza, la falta de comida, exigiendo los derechos humanos. Han sido afectados por bombas lacrimógenas en protestas, poniendo en riesgo sus vidas por la misma causa. He conversado con personas de todas las edades, niños, mujeres, hombres, ancianos.
Los he visto llorar. Hemos llorado juntos y nos hemos motivado a continuar. Esta es una colección de historias acerca del día a día de los venezolanos, la lucha por la cual están pasando, el coraje, la fuerza y el amor que encuentran en un sistema de opresión. Hice una promesa de compartir sus experiencias, de llevar el mensaje a nuevos oídos. Este libro es para todos aquellos que desean la paz, amor, progreso, unidad y para todo aquel que desea del mundo un mejor lugar.
Solo rompiendo el silencio podremos salir de la oscuridad.Quiero agradecer a Dios, a mi madre, padre, hermanos, familia, a Marisa Pizzino, Marcelo Caputo, por estar siempre a mi lado. My name is Andres Modesto, and I will be giving you my book with a bit of Venezuela for each donation made for any amount.
This campaign is born of the need of a beaten and abandoned people that has nowhere to ask for help, therefore, it is our duty as Venezuelans, to contribute a grain of sand to those other innocent Venezuelans who have not run with the luck that we have and sometimes we do not appreciate, to have a roof and three meals a day.
I personally, like many VenezolanosConCorazón, have imposed ourselves as a mission of solidarity, going out into the streets every day and trying to give one more day to the hundreds of innocent and defenseless elders and children who circulate in the streets of our beloved land.Unfortunately we are just common people, and what we contribute, is not enough, but I know we can continue with this mission, with the help of all of you, and every day grow and fill our Venezuela with full stomachs and smiles of hope.
The monney will go to the founding www.instagram.com/SopaPatiMCY (@SopaPatiMCY) who are mostly affected by the lack of resources and deserve to be watched as much as we can.
And on the other hand to continue with the work we have been doing in the book you will receive, which tells the story of the support to the hundreds of children and elderly in street situation providing basic supplies and a few smiles.
I have learned that you can determine a person's heart by what he does for those who can not do anything for him. For each donation of 10 € we will be financing the complete daily feeding of approximately 10 children or 7 elderly. Remember that although we sometimes feel that what we do is just a drop in the ocean, but the ocean would be less without that drop.
For the past 3 years I've been writing from a place of frustration and helplessness. Ordinary people have been speaking out against the poverty, the food shortage and the erosion of basic human rights. They have been inhaling tear gas during protests, putting themselves at risk for their cause.
I've spoken to all walks of life and all ages - children, women, men, the elderly. I'd see them crying. We have shared tears and embraced each other.
This is a collection of stories about everyday Venezuelans, the human struggles they are going through, and the courage, strength and love that they find in the face of an oppressive system. I made a promise to share their experiences, to bring their message to new ears. This book is for those who wish for peace, love, progress, unity and who want the world to be a better place. Only by breaking the silence can we get out of the darkness. I want to thank God, my mother, father, brothers, family, Marisa Pizzino, Marcelo Caputo, for always being by my side.
