A Dream to Play "Futbol" in Spain

On Sept. 4, 2017 he moved into the residence at Kaptiva Sports Academy and is playing on the U-16 team with players from around the world. It's definitely been a journey of faith for us as a family and we are loving seeing him grow, but miss him dearly. This jouney has been more than just about soccer, but about going after a dream no mater how Big and unreachable it looks and trusting God. 
Isaiah dreamed of training and an academy and wondered how he, living in a small town would be able to do that.  Our verse for this jouney is , "With God all things are possible."Matthew 19:26 
We are now at the second half of the season and asking for your prayers and help to get Isaiah to finish the season at Kaptiva. 
Many of the players from the academy call Isaiah, "Tulare," so we think it's pretty amazing that our hometown and county name is known at this academy. We welcome your prayers and support as our son from here in Tulare, Tulare County, CA, USA goes after a dream. 

All support goes to help pay tuition for "futbol" training, schooling, education, meals, insurance, travel, kits and more. 

PS. He will be participating the MLS tourney in Spain the week leading into Easter. (Mediterranean International Cup). 



Original Post - Our "one and only" dreams to play at a soccer academy in Spain. In April of 2017, a God-opportunity came and he along with Mom travelled to San Cugat, Spain for him to tryout for a spot at the Kaptiva Soccer Academy. We learned two days after returning to the States that he was ACCEPTED into the academy for his sophomore year. 
From the day we brought Isaiah home at 18 months old, he's been "all energy, all boy." We wouldn't have it any other way.  We started him off in various sports, but once he played soccer in third grade, he never wanted to stop! He's started at the Visalia Nazerene church, then AYSO, followed by a Club Team and High school. He has shared with us how much he wants to play in Europe. His favorite team is Barcelona. 
When this "Lifetime" opportunity came up, we did all we could to get him there. Through two dinner fundraisers, selling items on CL and the Blessings of generous friends who "wanted to seed this opportunity," we raised the funds for the trials. 
As I shared earlier, Isaiah came to us at 18 months old and has an amazing story and we are beyond Blessed to be a part of this boy's life. 
Now, that he has been accepted to Kaptiva Soccer Academy we are praying and doing all we can to help fund this dream for our 15 year old soccer player. 
The funds will cover his travel to Spain, Schooling, Full Insurance, Individualized training sessions led and conducted by Technical Academy Staff, Full season competition games across Europe, KSA soccer experiences – Pro Games, Participation in reputed Tournaments, Three to four team trainings days per week, Masterclasses, Quarterly evaluation of player’s progress, KSA Academy’s training kit, Video Analysis, Sports Nutritionist guidance and Multicultural activities.
We can surely tell you this boy is EXCITED about this Lifetime Opportunity.
